Hello World!

Hi, I’m Bridget…or Birdy. Or one of a few other nicknames I go by, but for purposes of this blog, let’s go with Birdy. I’m happy you’re here. I hope that what I share about our travels and experiences will encourage and inspire you to get out and see our beautiful world. We love to travel, and we especially love road trips and exploring America’s National Parks.

Chris and I have been together and exploring since 1992. Along the way, we added three kids to the family to make it all even more fun. Chris’ career in the Navy took us back and forth across the US a few times, and we took every coast to coast move as an opportunity to see our beautiful country. Now empty nesters, we are discovering a whole different kind of travel. It’s all been exciting, and I can’t wait to share our experiences and insights with you!
